Airport Update

Cont. from Dubai. Wasn't sure if airport tranfer would be early so... Oh, had best nights sleep @ Ibis, king size bed! Jet boat, went around all of Palms, well the outide & into a couple. The newest & greatest hotel starts @ €150,000/night, min 4 night stay! Each villa has their own private beach, lap pool, terrace, etc & when you open the curtains on one side an aquarium! One of the other hotels has the biggest pool=2200mtrs squared! Bugger doing my laps in that one. The Burj Al Arab, not so expensive any more, only starts from €115,000/night! lol... The top floors have 24hr personal butler. Bottom restaurant is surrounded by aquarium. Don't have to be guest to dine there... Went around to see heli-pad & tennis court. Told boat guy I'd see pics of Fed playing there & Woods hitting golf balls of Heli-pad. Saw the Sheiks castle & also the island he gave as a gift to his wife. Next time would be great to do by jet ski. Saw heaps of guys wizzing around. Presume you would need licence though, or maybe they passenger ones. Checked in. Total luggage, suitcase & bag now ways 25kg. Backpack, which I weighed for own curiousty, as carry on is 3kgs. Woo hoo, have further 5kgs checkin & 4kgs carry on. As I was walking out of checkin, guy fell over & also knocked post with line up straps over too. Thought he must have fainted, all staff asking if ok. Saw him getting up & no, oppsy daisy, we've had too much to drink! Dior, hypnotic perfume still too expensive. Walking out passed Issey Miyake saw guy contemplating. Told him, & pointed to Summer, that's really nice, I have it @ home. Then apologised saying, you're looking @ mens. He was sooo thankful as was about to buy it for female cousin b/day pressie! Finally found Revlon, but didn't have no #2 foundation : ( was only US$16.66!!! Now lying on airport type sun beds, waiting for boarding. No window seats or isle with any spare beside on check-in. Have isle but will see if there are any with spares after take-off. You are free to change seats after that, so people do move. Only 6hr 20min flight so won't get much sleep. Will probably sleep almost a whole day & night when I get home. Will probably be from Monday lunch to Tuesday once everything is unpacked, washed, shopping done etc. Haven't bought any more alcohol apart from red from Tuscany. Cheap here in duty free also, spirits, but will see what's in Bangkok, then fill rest of allowance when get to Syd! Bye for now : )
